To maintain your water quality, replace the eSpring™ cartridge after twelve months or 5,000 litres of water, whichever comes first.
However, if your local water supply contains larger than usual amounts of particulates, you may need to change the cartridge more often to maintain an acceptable flow rate.
Each eSpring unit includes smart-chip monitoring technology to display the remaining life of each cartridge.
WHEN TO ORDER A NEW CARTRIDGE
Once 90% of the rated life of the current cartridge has been used, the monitor will sound a single audible tone and a bar will flash on the monitor display whenever water is flowing.
This is your reminder to order a new cartridge.

WHEN TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE
Once the cartridge life has reached 100%, there will be a different continuous audible tone.
The reminder bar will disappear. Instead, the “Replace cartridge” indicator will turn red and the centre cartridge display will commence flashing.
This sophisticated monitoring system makes sure you never change the cartridge prematurely, wasting unused cartridge life. Also it prevents you from leaving a cartridge in the unit beyond its useful life as this can negatively affect your water quality.
